Our Getting Started Guide is here to help you learn the basics about the Performance Partners Program.

Step 1: Submitting Your Partner Application

In order to become a performance partner you must first submit your proposal here. We currently accept a limited number of partners.


By filling out the proposal we can better understand how you plan to participate in the program and if you will be a good fit. Please make sure to include as much information as possible. If you meet the requirements, we will reach out and let you know.

Step 2: Account Setup

Once your application is approved you will receive a welcome email that contains your username and affiliate token. Your affiliate token is an alpha numeric string that must always be present in your tracking links to ensure you receive credit for referred traffic and sales. As a best practice, always make sure to copy & paste.

The user ID and password will grant access to a reporting interface where you can track performance as well as input your payment information.

Step 3: Identity Guidelines

Refer to our Identity Guidelines for Apple Services to easily access all badges, lockups, icons, and proper guidance on messaging and style.

Badge: the new badge should be used in marketing material for web and onscreen communication. It is offered in multiple languages.

Lockup: More versatile and can be used with TV, print media, or any other high visibility material. It is offered in multiple languages.

Step 4: Creating Links

Creating a link with your affiliate token is the most important part of the Partners Program. For more detailed information, please see our Linking Guide.

Locate your affiliate token and copy it. You can find your affiliate token in your welcome email or in the Partnerize Dashboard.

Creating Links Using the Apple Services Toolbox (Recommended)

  • Go to the Apple Services Toolbox: https://tools.applemediaservices.com
  • There is a toolbox for Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple News, Apple Books and Apple Podcasts.
  • Search for the content you want to post in the search bar at the top of the page.
  • Add your affiliate token and optional campaign token.
  • Copy the link or use the short link.

Creating Manual Links Services General Subscription Flows (Optional)

While the Apple Services Toolbox is your best option for link creation, you can also create links manually if necessary. For additional information, please visit our Linking Guide.

Step 5: How To Create Reports

Please read the following steps to learn how to create reports in the Partnerize dashboard. For additional information, please read our Reporting Guide.

A. Navigate to Partnerize dashboard

B. Click on “Reporting” in the top left menu bar

C. Configure your report:


1. To view clicks

  • In the “Group By” menu, select “By Clicks”

2. To view conversions

  • In the “Group By” menu, select “By Items”
  • In the “Pivot Category” menu, select “Products” and “Trial” or “Membership” for Apple Music, “News Trial” or “News Membership” for News+, and “TV Plus Trial” or “TV Plus Membership” for TV+

3. To view campaigns

  • In the “Group By” menu, select “By Items”
  • In the “Pivot Category” menu, select “Products” and “Trial” or “Membership” for Apple Music, “News Trial” or “News Membership” for News+, and “TV Plus Trial” or “TV Plus Membership” for TV+
  • In the “Pivot Category” menu, select “Campaigns”

D. Download your report:

  1. Click the blue download button on the right side of the table
  2. Enter your email in the “Send CSV to an email address” field & click the blue “Download” button

Step 6: How To Set Up Your Banking Information

We recommend setting up your bank account information as soon as you can to ensure proper and timely payment. For additional information about setting up banking information, commissions, and payments, visit our FAQ

  1. Navigate to the Partnerize dashboard.
  2. Go to “Settings” and then “Payment Method” – This will allow you to enter your banking information.
  3. You can choose to be paid out in a single currency (for most cases) or multiple currencies – Click on “Add Payment Method” and select your tracked currencies, and your paid currency preferences.
  4. To set up Auto SelfBill / Payment, click the check box next to “Auto Selfbill / Payment Required”, enter the monthly payment date, and threshold (this is the amount that needs to be met to initiate the auto selfbill).
  5. Please note that payments take approximately 3 – 5 business days from the monthly payment date to transfer.
